Dreams or Daydreams

Do you ever get that feeling,
where you just want
to jump
inside someone's brain
crawl around
and find out what they're thinking?

Breath Deep

A couple of the guys in school have started wearing the most amazing smelling body spray, which inspired me to write this.

Isn't it funny?
How a smell
can make someone
a million times
more attractive.

My Darkest Time

I think this came from either English or Religion class, when we were talking about how everyone experiences everything differently, so you never really know what someone else is going through.

"I know how you feel."

Really?
No.
You don't.

You've never been so close
you can feel the tingling
in your fingertips and toes
and then feel it whoosh past
your cheek
as you just miss it.

You haven't had his fingers
ghost over your cheek,
as if he was going to grab you
and kiss you
only for him to
stroke your cheek and tell you:
"Let's be friends
forever"

You've never had your heart
lifted up
higher than you even thought was possible
only for it to come
crashing back down,
down...
Down.
Until it hits the ground
hard.

You haven't gone out
and sat by the lake
until the darkness
of the night creeped in;
until the empty place where
your heart
used to be has frozen over,
and you have a brand new
frozen
heart of ice.

And you have never
waited out the patient
days and weeks
and months and years
until the ice melted
and then he came along
and shattered it
all
over
again.

So how can you say
you know how I feel?

Tomorrow

This is inspired by the simple line "Tomorrow's far away."

Tomorrow.
That's a long
way away.

So let's live in
today. And treasure
every single moment.

One Kiss

This one is from the line "And with one kiss/We could stop time"

One Kiss
From You
Would Be So
Magical
It Would Stop
Time

Chance

Ok, I wrote a load of poems based on individual lines from the Ouron Highschool Host Club Theme Tune, which was stuck in my head for ages. This came from the line "Maybe we could take this chance." It's quite short, but sweet.

Jump.
Leap.
Fall.

Don't worry.
I'll catch you.
Safe.

I have a lot more but I won't be publishing them all because I really need to edit some of them. I'll hopefully be editing over the next month or so, and I'll have them up soon enough.

Pitter-Patter

This one doesn't really have anything to do with anything, but it's just something that came into my mind, and I had to write it down.

I can hear their
tiny feet
pitter-pattering on
the path outside.

I can smell those
scents of strawberry fields
and summer
that they use
to entice you
and draw you in.

I can feel
the icy chills they bring
starting
at the back of my neck
and spreading down
through my legs
to the tips of my toes.

I can taste that burning
on the back of my tongue.

And now
I can see
their horrific
deformed
mutated faces
pressed up close against mine.

Hopefully by next weekend I'll have found the other poems and will be able to publish those.

Torn

I wrote a load of poems on pieces of paper at school this week, but unfortunately I only brought the piece of paper with this one and the next one on it.
I guess for this one I was just thinking about scars, and how you can have scars on the inside and the outside, and I thought of this.

Everyone has scars.
Some are big.
Some are small.
Some are on the outside
and some
are on the inside.

I've got one or two
small scars
on the outside.
They're nothing impressive.
Nothing to talk about.

But I've got
one huge, giant scar
on the inside
where you ripped out my heart.

Title will probably change.

EDIT: Changed the title from 'Beautiful Painful Scars' to 'Torn'.
