This is a poem a wrote about a week ago. I know it's been ages since I last updated, but I have a regular Internet source now, so hopefully I'll be updating more often.
Nobody's Perfect
Behind your smile,
is a broken heart
and shattered dreams.
Reflected in the
gleam of your eyes,
is a suffocating sadness.
But
you have to be
strong.
Because now you must
fight to take back
what is yours.
So put on your war paint.
Cover up your tears
and make yourself look strong.
For tonight
you prepare for battle.
